A lovely Harvestman, I think this is a Leiobunum rotundum.

I have this new IKEA Ärse lamp, but it won’t stop drooling and farting.

This lovely little critter was rudely disturbed by me some time ago (Thomisidae spp) I believe.

An Ogre faced spider (Deionopis spp),I had never seen one before and therefore had no idea how quickly the moved so I didn’t get too close, hence a crappy image. But just look at the size of those chelicerae! and those eyes!

This was about 30mm to 35mm long and sounded SO menacing!

No idea what the ID of this one is so I’m not even going to be flippant. It’s standing on a wire dish rack in the centre image so it’s really tiny. The metallic sheen makes it look almost mechanical.

Another jumping spider but I’m not sure what this one is called, I think Eddie will have to do until I find out.

A tiny Zebra spider (Salticus scenicus) with an enormous Cranefly, this one was dragging its prey up a vertical shed door with the enthusiastic vigour of someone who has just bagged enough food to live like a king.

Another Araneus diademantus, in the top view she is munching on what I think is the head of a victim. In the underside view (taken later) you can see her trochanter (where each leg exits the body), the two yellow patches are where her book lungs are, and in between, is her epigyne (lady bits).

A garden orb weaver, I have a few ladies in my garden that model for me. (Araneus diadematus).

This tiny hoverfly visited my kitchen a while back. After signing a model release, he/she was released back into their natural environment.

A Rufous Hornbill I saw at Colchester zoo

I have a few urban foxes turn up now and again, this, I think, is the daughter of a vixen that has been visiting for a few years now.
