But this is a flawed way to gauge the popularity of soccer in America. Yes more people said soccer is their favorite than people who said baseball. In reality I know way more people, who claim American football or basketball as their favorite sport, that would choose baseball over soccer.

I would love to see the league increase the salary cap drastically. I’m a fan of Louisville, a team that has not given me reason to believe they would take advantage of it being increased. But I still think the league would benefit from increasing it.

Have they addressed what they are going to do post 2026 season ending in November/December and 2027 season starting 7 months later? Are they just going to have an insanely long offseason or are they going to find a way to do something to fill the gap?

Genuine question, how would this ease player movement into and out of the league? I hope I don’t sound cynical as I ask that, I genuinely just don’t know why it would be better.

Lauren Milliet just returned to full training with Louisville. Maybe it’s a coincidence timing wise, but it does make me wonder if the intended length of the loan was “until the return of Milliet” as now Racing is back to their full depth of outside backs. 🤔

Three games feels soft imo. Busquets not getting anything from MLS was disappointing to me. We realistically are going to see him go completely unpunished for hitting Obed Vargas in the face with a closed fist, and that is wild to me.
