Okay, so I watched this on a whim cuz I spotted it at an old thrift shop & it fascinated me. Had a good time, only to find out later Takashi Yamazaki THE Godzilla Minus-One director made this?? No wonder: all the raw ingredients of peak blockbuster magic ARE here, it just took him time to refine it.
