What a magnificent game at Anfield. The people, companies and states who own and control football clubs today might be awful, but the players care, a lot, and do the fans - and all of us. A reminder that football is too precious to be left to the bastards, who should be fought every inch of the way.

People paid for content and podcasts make long term assumptions based on short term form and circumstances. There has to be narrative and an effect on the final outcome. In reality it can all change in 2-3 game weeks and then they reverse what they said as news is chip paper nobody remembers

The bit that everybody is missing is that we are still right in the mix regardless of things going against us and intermittent form.
That compares to the two teams above us where everything has gone their way and on peak form.
That will change the season is long and we will be there come Feb/Mar

This extreme flip flopping from one week to another is just bizarre. Nothing really has changed worse case back to 9 best case reduced to 6 with 2/3's of season to go.
