For instance, I gave Lovable, Bolt and Stitch a prompt (designed by ChatGPT) for a simple business website:
- Lovable: crashed twice, then served up garbage.
- Bolt: designed something that looks exactly like a Bootstrap template, with very little imagination.
- Stitch: did ok, but still not great

I think the one thing we still have going for us as web folk is AI does a fairly shoddy job at designing websites. The code is ‘acceptable’ in most cases but I could design better UIs. And I’m not a designer

The only thing I can think of is building a web scraper, but this either involves hiring someone to build it for you, or spending many hours ‘maybe’ getting it to work in an automation app. Either way, not quick, and not painless

Is your content available on the wayback machine? If not, that snapshot they provided you may have access to static pages of text. You’d still have to copy paste, but at least you’d have your content
