Why would he, when there’s under the table payments on offer?

Divide and conquer. Hope that on election day the only thing some voters remember is this flag issue and vote likewise. Hoping it lands on the a few more young ppl, who this is the only policy they have had interaction with. Not the nuclear crap and the past history.

Wooohooo great taste!! I got my 25 year box yesterday. Nice of the club to go the extra.

…or maybe just making ppl from Narre Warren proud of their talent doing so well?

we work with what we have, the alternative is watching Dutton give his acceptance speech.

or strategic and realistic.

Really, that sounds like SkyNews at Night. Inflation is being caused by record corporate profits. Every election is being contested on cost of living… It’s not the Aust tax system.
January 12, 2025 at 2:22 PM
they’ve started that by blocking the stage three tax cuts to the high end of town and providing tax relief to middle and low income earners.

all states….WA wasn’t won. In most seats there was a swing to LNP. Apart from Vic the swing was away.
January 12, 2025 at 1:41 PM
I think you’re over simplifying the result. Labor went in with 250 policy initiatives. The polls swung harshly in the space of six months prior to the election. The reform was too much too soon and the Murdoch press went to town.
January 12, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Can you remember the real reform that was promised?Often real reform takes time. Franking tax taught Bill Shorten and Labor that lesson.
January 12, 2025 at 1:02 PM
That seems to be your theme but I never saw the LNP ever consider increasing the pension and minimum wage, tackle aged care, increase the minimum wage, reduce medication costs, fully fund public schools, repair our regional standing, improve our tax system….the list goes on.
January 12, 2025 at 11:15 AM
I love Bernie Sanders but he’s never going to be President. We need to take the wins in this cycle and hopefully they get a few more with an another go. It’s not perfect but it sure is better than the alternative. If you want to strengthen the LNP, that’s your choice.
January 12, 2025 at 10:47 AM
I’m disappointed but sometimes issues aren’t as black and white. Labour could put forward the progressive policies but the other side will rip us to shreds through scare campaigns. We’ve seen it all too many times. Unfortunately they have to play the long game or they’ll be out after one term.
January 12, 2025 at 8:14 AM
Yep I think Bolton is icing but I worry about depth.
January 12, 2025 at 7:29 AM
I still worry about our backline. We have two very injury prone key backs. We look a million dollars if our captain stays on the pitch.
January 12, 2025 at 6:56 AM
Living standards are beyond a governments control. Every election around the world is about living standards. Corporate greed can’t be regulated without closing loop holes in tax avoidance.

Don’t get us started on your shit

Jye Richardson is ordinary. He’s nothing unless it’s a fast bouncy track. He’s a liability in the field. Hit it to him on the boundary and push two because he isn’t throwing it in at any speed or accuracy. He doesn’t dive or stop anything he has to run onto on the boundary.
January 11, 2025 at 7:53 AM
shot selection….Hardie was shocking for first ball he faced.
January 11, 2025 at 7:47 AM
Ashton Turner should be taking notes. His effort last game on the boundary was ordinary in the context of the game.
January 11, 2025 at 7:12 AM
what a bullshit decision. the trajectory of the ball and his back leg was bent. robbed

Lucky, we need Smith now. They’re looking 200+
