Open Access publication and software is *probably* fine, but what about the environment? That seems like a pretty lefty word, and they warn us like 5 times in the EO about it.

I'm not sure if helping the color blind be able read the color schemes of figures is too namby pamby for the order, but I guess I need to know if I want to stay out of trouble!

The Lawyer says "probably okay," but also urges caution. I guess "duly passed by Congress and signed into law by President Clinton" might be too triggering for Dear Leader!

I decided to seek some clarity on the finer details of the order. After all, if the State wants to regulate what I'm allowed to study, then I want to make sure I understand what the State has made verboten!

Yesterday, all the PIs on federal grants at Purdue got an email from some upper admin muckity mucks about adhering to a certain Order by the Dear Leader of the current regime.
