Pitt is on a hiring freeze for all positions until the end of June and stopped all doctoral admissions for awhile (they’ve since restarted the admissions) because of the cuts.

He claimed to have found $8 million in federal spending "for making mice transgender.”
That spending…doesn't exist. One of the studies he was referring to included testing on transgenic mice—used in biomedical research for almost 50 years—to improve treatments for people.
