Blatant gaslighting. Nobody believes these excuses, not even for a second.

Last time he had unprepared but experienced people who quickly abandoned him when they realised how bad his plans were. Now he has super-loyal people who have had years to prepare very detailed plans to do stupid, harmful, self-serving stuff. We may not like it, but they're well organised this time.

Me: "No, he's a sex offender, an insurrectionist, a fraud, a pathological liar, incompetent, a climate change denier & is about to put one of the worst antivaxers in the world in charge of health. What reason could I have to like him?"
