This #Microsoft365 Message Center #MC1131064 hurt a little: Microsoft Lens app will retire. Starting this September in phases and concluding on 15 December 2025. The replacement app is the Microsoft365 Copilot app, although it certainly does not have feature parity with Lens

Last week #Microsoft published #MC1123830 where they announced #Entra #ConditionalAccess updates indicating that #AzureDevOps (ADO) will be separated from Azure Resource Manager (ARM). This means that you might have to update your policies in order to allow access to #ADO. #MC1123830

Today #Microsoft published Message Center #MC1120871 post on #MicrosoftTeams Meeting link validation. If you use a #security product that rewrites meeting URLs, it is possible that users are not able to join the meeting as a security precaution.

...(shoutout to #LogiLumi), new connections etc. etc.. Some of those discussion will even continue beyond this summit. Yeah, it's hard work but that's #MVPBuzz

Thank you all and hopefully see you next year as well!

Lot's of interesting sessions and I still have a few recommendations on my Watch Later list. New insights and I was able to provide lot's of feedback to the Product Groups.

But the best things and the benefit of being in-person are the (ad-hoc) discussions, meetings, lunches and dinners...

It's the last summit day and wanted to do some blogging. But I'm exhausted, sleep-deprived, over-caffeinated, lots of muscle aches, indigestion, overstimulated and the list goes on. And I have a 10 hour flight to look forward too...

IMHO it was al worth it for the #Microsoft #MVPSummit.

This is what #MVPSummit is about: connecting with people. Our traditional #MSExchange MVP dinner with representatives of the Product Group did just that. And with great food and drinks! #MVPBuzz

Great to hear @schnoll.bsky.social, it’s always a win!! Now talking (remotely) about #MSExchange Subscription Edition at the #MSExchangeSummit in Würzburg Germany.

- Often a 1024 key length is still used, while 2048 is more robust. Solve this in #MSExchange Online by rotating your DKIM keys with PowerShell with a higher value. See more here: https://buff.ly/4fkd50L

Did you encounter other common issues with DKIM?

Day 5 of #ITAdvent. #Spam and #Bulk mails are not the same but are similar. In general bulk mails are wanted mass mailings, such as newsletters or marketing info. Bulk follows all/most legal requirements such as opt-in. Spam does not.

Now, this might not fit your needs & require specific (E3/E5 or Enterprise) licenses for certain capabilities. But it might be a nice addition to your (adoption) toolset for communication, besides mail, Teams etc. It's currently rolling out and details can be found here: https://buff.ly/4fZRM5O

It's still in preview but could already help you find the optimal BCL threshold in your org. One downside is that it doesn't work when your MX is not on #MSExchange Online. In any case, I like tools using data to justify your settings.

Finally, work with the In-Person meeting option when relevant. https://buff.ly/4fTP5m7
Also point out the Follow option when relevant: https://buff.ly/4g8EFQ1

Note: some capability are only available in New Outlook

First tackle how users can enter their work location. In Outlook https://buff.ly/4eSjqjX
and in MS Teams: https://buff.ly/4eR9Yx6
Then how to find out where your coworkers work. Generally, via de Profile card: https://buff.ly/4fK7wd3 But you can also see it when you look into your own calendar.

There were smaller changes here and there, but with #MicrosoftPlaces being GA it's good to review the options.

Even if you can't take full advantage of Places, take time to communicate the changes & codify company-wide or teamlevel way-of-working. A good starting point: https://buff.ly/4fPT6s3
December 2, 2024 at 3:31 PM
But that doesn't mean Online won't have (breaking) changes. On the contrary, there much happening requiring a of preparation by your org *and* potentially your software vendors. See this blog post for major changes:
