Retired and loving it. Gaming as much as possible.

Maybe with the first pit slot they were worried about having to wait too long to release into the string of traffic. No idea.

Do you mean you will draw a self portrait while naked, or you will draw a naked self-portrait?

I'm so sorry. I have dealt with situations like this, but not anywhere near this bad.

"Adventure! People talked about the idea as if it were something worthwhile, rather than a mess of bad food, no sleep, and strange people inexplicably trying to stick pointed objects in bits of you." -Rincewind also from Interesting Times by Terry Pratchett

D&D 5E (2024) and D&D 5E 2014 (different campaigns, counting as one item)
Pathfinder (1st edition)
Fate Core

All except Shadowrun have been played in the past month.

Don't let the list intimidate you. You don't need to read them all unless you fall in love with them. There is no grand overarching story line and the recurring characters are more of a comfort than a requirement to read/know everything in everyone's back story. Read whatever appeals to you.

I always liked the way the Judges Guild RPG supplement City State of the Invincible Overlord referred to the lawyers' union as the Litigation Tricksters Guild.

If you do, please know that you don't have to (and shouldn't) start at the beginning. You can start pretty much anywhere in the series. The first couple books are, IMO, not as good as the rest as Sir Terry was finding his voice. Use this helpful guide. bsky.app/profile/rinc...
DO YOU LIKE GOTH SHIT? Start with Mort, the first of the Death books.

DO YOU LIKE DRAGONS? Start with Guards! Guards! the first of the Watch books.

DO YOU LIKE ANTITHEISM? Start with Small Gods, a standalone skewering of organized religion.

From there, follow this guide to find your next book.
