Just after Christmas, TOM English was having a go at Celtic regarding lack of Academy players v St Johnstone. He'll be all over this won't he; a director suggesting recruiting a player of this age. Answers, on the back of pixel, to G51...

Just after Christmas Tom English criticised Celtic for lack of academy players v St Johnstone. He'll have a field day with this. A director suggesting purchasing a 37 year old😲. Of course, he'll need get permission from his Media Relations in G51 first.

Watching the darts. Littler is a phenomenon. Looking at the crowd though it's a bit like watching a Reform Party Rally in terms of ethnicity. And that Yaya/Kolo Toure song - get some new material guys.

No one can say the SPFL/SFA don't react to feedback. Two weeks after a manager complains re VAR and refs with an affiliation to other clubs, that manager now trusts the process. Credit where it is due.

Saw someone elsewhere say that they felt something was missing from Christmas. I agree. We've become too Americanised with Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve boxes, matching family pj's. Someone even cited today as Christmas Eve Eve. Next stage is Happy Holidays. At that point we've lost.

In other news, the SFA have accepted the earth is not flat. McCann & Allan on Sportscene ranted re The Rangers players accepting the decision. Maybe they heard the whistle before Cerny put his foot on the 18yd line. On the second point, did anyone ask why? Do they work EVERY weekend?

To those fellow Celtic fans declaring that we are NOW Scotland's (and the UK's) most successful team WITH 119 national trophies. We already were with the 116 gained at the end of 2022/23. The previous holder (RIP) had 115 trophies. ANYONE saying 119 is significant is endorsing the continuity myth.

Some comments on Spurs & Ange.
1. I think the team have stopped believing in his system. There is no "rinse & repeat", just "repeat".
2. He will not last the season.
3. He went to the wrong team. Mourinho, Conte & Pochettino found that out too.
4. Levy is the problem - not the solution.

When Gru took over The Rangers in December 2023 they were 7 points behind Celtic. The finished the season 8 points below the champions. Now, after two transfer windows they are 11 points adrift and in danger of being 3rd in a two horse race. "Progress? My arse!" as my favourite Royle would say.

I was at Pittodrie when Aberdeen, under Ferguson, had Leighton, Miller, McLeish, Strachan etc and a 'professional' support claiming a throw when Leighton kicked the ball directly out. They were hard to beat. The personnel has changed but that support is back. Will they be there every week though?

I bought unleaded petrol in Belfast yesterday at £1.289 a litre. Just passed through Girvan and it's £1.359 litre. Can someone explain how that is possible?

Thoughts on last night's game. Outthought and outfought in the first half. Second half we found our rhythm and started to dominate possession and chances. Would have settled for 1-1 at 7:45, but disappointed we did not take the chances & get 3. Loved Scmeichel's reaction to the OG.

This Virtual Paradise "opportunity" by Celtic reminds me of the wee boy at Largs yelling "Adopt a seagull. Only a pound". Every time he found a "client" he'd point to the sky and say "That's yours up there mate." Or the Ryder Cup caddie who sold the winning ball 1000 times...

The deed is done. I'm a migrant from Twitter and I don't give a X. Way too many ads and AI rubbish all to try to get you to subscribe. Looking for a happier place to chat and discourse. Hopefully it's here.
