TIL about floating point errors. I was losing it trying to figure out why my baby Python script kept saying 40.1-40 = .10000000000000142.
Something about doing binary math on certain fractions when you don't have an infinite number of bits to work with. Gotta help computer and round that output.

I just switched to a more fully-featured software program to use in coding 101 class. It's got a little thumbnail of your code in the top corner that's designed specifically to remind you of hacking minigames in Mass Effect 2.

On the 4th of July, I always like to take a moment and find out where the nearest computer history museum is.
If we’re ever attacked by aliens, we’ll need a working PowerBook 5300 to connect to the alien computer so we can disable the alien’s impenetrable shields and save humanity.
