It was a planning permission thing, the original plan was a fully enclosed statium with the top stand over the train tracks... But the last stand permission was refused!

Ahh totally! And in fairness, been a good year for football too... Very open all round and Kildare have had a good hurling year too!!

As far as I know they do, I'm a hurling fan and it was an emotional watch but it seemed most others were drained after that game !!

I told my lads this morning to wait until the footballers came out to see the difference in atmosphere... I was very wrong! Second game was so boring by comparison and the atmosphere was cat..... That said delighted with both results naturally!
