And this is the reason why many, like me, won’t go back after Trump.

The stupid republican voters knew what he was like and voted for him again.

The world is a big place and Canada will reap the benefits of people who want to travel to North America
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Of course they don’t

Why is this a surprise?

It was clear what would happen yet people voted for it.
May 30, 2025 at 8:18 PM
There is another Brexit benefit.

We can now apply VAT to private school fees. Something not allowed as an EU member.

The list is growing - it’s 1 every 4 years it seems.
May 25, 2025 at 8:51 PM
That’s like asking a billionaire if they have enough money.
May 24, 2025 at 10:57 AM
The guidance on consent or pay models is quite clear if you read it or the reports that many digital companies have done on it

It’s not illegal and several companies do it.
May 13, 2025 at 1:42 PM
You can withhold consent by not accepting their conditions and not using the website. It’s not compulsory

It’s not unlawful.
May 13, 2025 at 8:57 AM
It’s not unlawful though.

If you don’t agree with the terms then don’t accept them.
May 13, 2025 at 8:23 AM
Or just don’t read it.

They need to pay their journalists
May 13, 2025 at 7:47 AM
Sadly true.
May 13, 2025 at 6:31 AM
School and health funding has been increased.
That’s just a fact.

Have we seen the impact fully? No because it’s only just happened.
May 3, 2025 at 11:07 AM
They’ve been in office for less than a year.
Winter fuel has merely been means tested and more vulnerable people now get pension credit than before

NHS waiting lists are down significantly

So yes they are already improving things.
It’s not perfect but the facts are there to see
May 3, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Many people don’t switch they ‘lend’ their vote

Why wouldn’t they vote Labour when the policies they are implementing are improving the core things in life - NHS, schools etc

They will see how incompetent Reform will be locally now when they try and mimic Trump

4 years is a long time
May 3, 2025 at 8:46 AM
It’s the local elections - always a lower turnout, always a protest vote.

You must also think that many people who used to vote Tory would never go back - which I just don’t see as they have no alternative.
May 3, 2025 at 8:30 AM
That I agree with.

It will see the end of the far right parties and views in power.

It’s also needed to rejoin the EU as that is impossible with our current electoral system
May 3, 2025 at 8:28 AM
And many will come back to Labour in the next 4 years.

You might think you won’t but there is clearly still enough support in the country.

Again, I repeat, to make a prediction of a huge loss in 4 years time is naive.
May 3, 2025 at 8:26 AM
The. Ext GE is 4 years away.

People have time to see through the Reform incompetence and for Labours policies that aren’t in the news to make a positive impact

To say now they will lose the next GE is ignorant.
May 3, 2025 at 7:59 AM
What made you think he was ever going to do those things?

He wasn’t.

He isn’t failing because he is trying to do those, he never was going to.

What is amazing is people voted for him, beloved the lies and still voted to make their lives worse.
April 21, 2025 at 6:52 AM
Wrong.

That view implies he is failing when he isn’t.

He has made his rich friends even richer by manipulating the markets. He’s stopped people looking at Putin who owns him

He isn’t failing.
April 20, 2025 at 10:21 PM
60bn is more than enough to address the current issues. Trains can be made longer, carriages designed to carry more people, platforms extended.

HS2 isn’t connecting any new destinations
April 13, 2025 at 4:19 PM
He also wants to abolish IHT because tax is ‘wasted’

Says he’s been in many boardrooms, saves companies by cutting waste yet doesn’t understand how pensions work.
April 9, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Why is this a surprise?

He said he would become a dictator, he loved tariffs, he is owned by Putin and yet they voted for him

It’s a bit late to protest and complain now.
April 6, 2025 at 7:23 PM
How exacely does HS2 make commuter train travel improve from Berkhamstead when it’s meant to speed travel to Birmingham.

That’s a rather large whataboutery.
April 6, 2025 at 5:04 PM
So you’re suggesting it’s not possible to add extra carriages?

Change the seating to allow more passengers at peak times?

You’ve no idea what other countries have done to solve the exact same issues, the answer was never build another line at a huge cost that makes no difference
April 6, 2025 at 4:54 PM
You clearly don’t travel on trains if you have no idea how they can be make to carry more people

Yes of course signalling and rails can be improved on a live network. It happens here and elsewhere all the time

£60bn is a lot to have available to do it faster.
April 6, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Maybe you should have protested before the election.

What Trump has done isn’t a surprise.

All a bit too little too late. It will achieve nothing.
