A single Brown Hairstreak seen at Arnside Knott yesterday, along with some Painted Ladies and a Small Tortoiseshell. Despite the fine weather there weren't many butterflies about.

Sharp-tailed Bee in my Middlesbrough garden earlier today, nectaring on Wild Marjoram. Both Coelioxys elongata and C. inermis have been recorded on Teesside, so it's likely to be either of these species.
