Trying desperately to retire, it’s hard when your boss really likes you! Married to a wonderful Scot
I think a key focus should be on multi nationals employing very creative methods to reduce their UK tax. We need stricter anti avoidance legislation. This will also level the playing field with uk businesses who don’t use such methods

He’s a Reform apologist. He makes Laura Kuensberg seem moderate

Yep. Refereed for 3 years. Some of the guys were horrendous. Teams played with fear

Theres so few betting shops left. Ours closed three years ago. All online. I remember the Betfair CEO Getting a shitload in Ireland. Obviously no shelter of UK profits

If this is a reaction to Reform yesterday. If so. Utter nonsense. Concentrate on own policies. Need to look forward using compassionate policies. Tax wealth. Sort out those who shelter offshore. Improve services. Increase minimum wages so that work pays and large companies are not subsidised.

Hopefully this is only the start. A spotlight has been shown on the ‘ firm’ which needs greater scrutiny. Appalling levels of wealth and entitlement. One house and no hangers on.

A waste of a good education, clearly.

Lock up the directors of the pollution continues

And now we have Steer Calmer wading in. Doesn’t he have more important things to worry about. Cost of living. Poverty. Economy.
Better be involved in a football match??

Why or why are Labour politicians getting involved. It makes them look like they support the Israeli action in Palestine. Forgetting public safety for peaceful Villa fans. Take a different view. Look at the Maccabi fans behaviour in Europe. Public safety is paramount.

Good to see Gary getting under the skin of the far right. Showing them up and their toxic views.

Andy. Sadly United have consistently made seemingly good players worse. They then improve when they leave. It’s possibly the pressure or the coaching, the systems or the off field workload. The loss in transfer fees is a huge drain on funds. It has to be solved. Over go back to youth and take time.

Booked. Looking forward to it. Not been to the Leeds playhouse before. Poor form

She mentioned that she called Gove.

What about the architects of the VIP lane? That was where a great deal of public money was wasted

I agree what is said about Reform, but he needs to starve them of the oxygen they crave. Start improving communication on Labour and achievements. Promote Labour
September 28, 2025 at 3:47 PM
I think that’s the problem. It’s not the ID card, which is a good idea, its the implementation and management. Who can we trust? It can’t be the private sector

They seem to be steeped in fear. Fear of the wealthy, fear of coming out against the Israelis, fear of Trump, fear of theBrexiteers , fear of the populists. Whilst letting down their traditional base. They definitely need a reset without Starmer and Reeves.

Labour, imo, need to get back on the front foot. Promote the hell out of what they are doing, rather than trying to outreform Reform. Really improve communication.

If you are a Snake Oil salesman. Your objective is to get your product in front of as many potential customers as possible. The media is giving him that opportunity, whist rubbishing the other products in the market. When you are a good salesman, you can sell anything, even if it’s a box of lies
