I remember seeing “portrayals” of this America on programs my grandparents watched when I was a kid. Somewhere along the way we morphed into where a teen almost has to hire a Hollywood producer to figure out how to ask someone to prom.

Another idea would be to allow ratepayers to earn equity in their local power company, especially if the public takes over financing those grid upgrades. In addition to addressing affordability, it could provide another retirement asset.

There is just so much evil coming at us in rapid fire that things that would be months-long scandals in previous years get insufficient attention now. This appears to be one of those.

The parade today by contrast moves west to east, outside to in. It starts at the Pentagon not Arlington National Cemetary. It follows the symbolic route of troops entering to quell or occupy the city, not leaving with love and thanks. 8/

It’s effectively way more than 15 million, because removing ACA subsidies will make the insurance premiums too expensive for many if not most people.
