Two autumn Maple leaves on a moss covered boulder for #TwosDay. I suppose it also works for #RockinTuesday.

Today's alternative #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Tits. Here's a Black-capped Chickadee, a North American member of the tit family down on the ground.

"Blott on the Landscape."

I found the TV show on Tubi recently not having seen it since it was first broadcast. I had forgotten about Miss Marple being a dominatrix. The abandoned grocery store in the town of Wiarton on the #BrucePeninsula, Ontario.

I think the bird looks slightly more fed up in this photo. 😀

I also find it a lot easier follow focusing with an internal focusing lens although it's possible with a helicoid focusing lens.

The helicoid focusing OM Zuiko 300mm on #Kodachrome in the early 1990s. Published in an article about birds flight because the birds head is level with the horizon.

Today's alternative #BirdOfTheDay theme is #rainyday. Here's a young male Rose-breasted Grosbeak in the rain on the #BrucePeninsula, Ontario. September pinup in a birds calendar.

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is the species you have the #least photos of. I have single images of quite a few species so decided to go with this male Yellow Warbler on spring migration.

Bohemian Waxwing eating a frozen berry at -30°C in winter near Punnichy, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Presumably they'll eat them at -40° as that's not uncommon for Saskatchewan.
