That is a big gap between how much prices have gone up (+20%) and what some people are earning (+3.2%). Earnings in some places (e.g. Cotswolds) far outstrip prices. At this rate none of our kids let alone grandkids will own their own home without a trust fund.

Another year gone by with the mercury soaring past 30°C on the solstice here in Reading. The public must realise that climate change manifests as inflation & cuts to government services. The climate crisis is the cost of living crisis. We cannot afford not to act. #showyourstripes

This was my attempt in this space. Currently Reform are getting all of their overlap and the Greens need to pick up enough little c conservatives to make the Tactical Greens feel safe.

I found a council 'No Ball Games' sign next to a decent size communal lawn surrounded by trees (maps.app.goo.gl/eRCKEKpr18uu...). As someone with a six year old I find these a bit sad, but am curious whether people still like them or think they are relic from when kids should be seen and not heard.
