Thanks! Looking at it this morning, I tend to agree that it looks a bit stretched vertically. This was w a 20 mm lens in portrait mode, so it’s already a wide angle vertically. It’s probably close to a 180° field of view.

Oh it’s definitely not a comet. Probably just a street light from a ranger station.
