It’s not broken.
It’s working exactly as intended.
Just not for us.

Conman #3: “Efficiency.”
The rent-seeker wedged between makers and users.
Not the store. Not the supply chain.
Financiers, insurers, fund managers — skimming a toll while adding nothing.
They extract. They don’t enable.

2) I don't really care what SCOTUS or Lipton think is the definition of corruption. I embrace the Potter Stewart test from 𝐽𝑎𝑐𝑜𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑠 𝑣. 𝑂ℎ𝑖𝑜: I know it when I see it.

3) The fact that we have to discuss this says everything that needs to be said.

Justice Breyer's book, 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, is a more robust review of the Fair Reading approach to constitutional interpretation. Great read and eviscerating to Originalism.
