All true. Trump is totally ignorant of what's happening on the ground in South Africa. He is just doing Netanyahu's bidding with a country that is showing open opposition to what Israel is doing.
For the record: no land has been expropriated in South Africa. And white people have the highest standard of living in the country. Trump is using South Africa as a proxy for his white supremacy agenda in both USA and Israel. The reference to white Afrikaners is a clear callback to apartheid.

I must admit that I am quite concerned about Syria right now. I know that they have all within themselves that they need to do well. My hope is at the west will give them enough space to find their own feet and not to think that they have to interfere.

This is all true. When you see it all documented in this way it is pretty damning. What is amazing to me is that so many people do not find this a deal breaker... But rather a reasonable filter through which to see the future.
