Dunno if folks would be interested, but this site provides old school, all on one page baseball boxscores (including attendance) during the regular season. Not perfect, but fun to check out once in a while www.thebaseballcube.com/content/news...

McCleary Park last summer: City workers driving a pick up truck through the outfield in order to lock the washrooms just as our softball game ended

Ford and Sarkaria out there convincing people it's the seven* people on the right who are causing congestion, not the three people on the left 🤷

*eight if you include me

Welcome back to Toronto, where drivers chase you and your gf down and challenge you to a fight while their psycho dog hangs out the window. Thanks to our provincial govt for stoking hate. I'd report to the police, but they're all at High Park ticketing rolling stops. What a wonderful place to live.

I didn't spend much time taking photos this time, but it's worth including a clip from my previous visit in 2022. It's insane that Ford and Sarkaria want to prevent any progress toward more scenes like this in Toronto.

I don't see a return to posting like I used to, but Paris reignited my love for urban cycling. So many options, so much less aggression. Hard to come home to SUV-clogged, angry Toronto. Such a shame our govt is working to undo the progress we've made here. Sarkaria and Ford have such small minds.

Snowy day in Toronto and an errand to run on the other side of town. Conditions were a bit rougher than I expected at first, but as usual have no regrets about taking the bike. So much traffic downtown - definitely better than being part of that! #BikeTO

Cargo bike plus cold plunge! A brilliant Saturday morning in Toronto.

Like many others, I can get a bad case of the winter blues. Having a wonderful group of people to gather with every Saturday morning has made for a much more palatable winter. A little bit spiritual, a little bit crazy. Perfect!

If anyone I know or you know has a need to get rid of 2 Father John Misty tickets for the February show at Massey Hall, please remember me! 🤞

As of Dec 7, the Balance on Bloor website - the face of the "rip up bike lanes in Toronto" movement - is gone. How many ppl gave $ or personal info to make a "better community for all", before this supposed "grassroots" campaign shut down? Textbook example of an Astroturf campaign. Pure scam.

Been looking to get out of my comfort zone lately and meet some new people/try new things. Did my fourth cold plunge in Lake Ontario this morning. A bit of breathwork, followed by a dip and then food and conversation by the fire. Perfect.

Coincidentally, loved the Intercounty Baseball League shoutout in the Joe Davis episode. If Fernando and Hamilton end up playing in Toronto the same weekend as the Jays, you guys gotta come for a weekend. You can sit on the hill at Christie Pits and watch for free. One of Toronto's best atmospheres.

Honoured to finally meet the wonderful @shawnmicallef.bsky.social tonight. The original version of Stroll: Psychogeographic Walking Tours of Toronto (2010) changed the way I connect with this city. The updated version is a welcome reminder of the "good" about living in Toronto. Highly recommend it!

Here's a better question for my Toronto friends:

What are your favourite indoor places to read/write/work? I'm doing an online program and am starved for inspiration. I need to get out more.

(I prefer quiet places - and my favourite is the magnificent Toronto Reference Library)

A beautiful morning for breathwork and a cold plunge in Lake Ontario. New to this, but loving the experience. Great community, incredibly invigorating, and just enough "crazy" to keep me coming back

Incredible place. So grateful to live nearby.

I would love to see Vlad extended (might not have said that a year ago). To be completely honest, I'm slightly more interested in what my Tigers do to build on last year's out of nowhere success #repdetroit
