In my first programming course, instructor was writing code on white board and drawing a “b” with a slash through it to represent a space. When asked what it meant by one of the students he said “the thumb!”… meaning the spacebar, which only confused the student even more. He ended up dropping out.

My great grandfather immigrated from Holland. Really hope to visit in the next year or so and see where my family came from. Love your photos!
