I’m wondering if Andrew Hastie (the MP for my electorate) is the most blatantly dishonest MP in federal parliament? Thoughts?

I’m wondering, now that we have a federal Labor government for at least another term will we see proposals for offshore wind farms in the WA zone? Maybe people were holding off because of fear of the anti-renewables coalition getting into power? We shall see.

South Australia, where I lived most of my life, is still leading the nation, and to some extent, the world, in renewable energy.

Climate 200 are supporting 35 independent candidates for the coming election. All of them looking after their communities and pressing for more action on climate change. Meanwhile, those big party politicians who don't get thrown out will be looking after the interests of the fossil fuel industries

This fence is partly obstructing the path and it's against quite a busy road. It could easily be moved further away from the path and still serve its purpose. I've informed Port Bouvard Homes, who are apparently responsible for it.

Mr Dutton's nuclear power proposal, one important point that isn't discussed is this: if we build nuclear power stations and they are bombed in some future war, the contamination would be colossal, similar to Chernobyl and Fukushima.

I wonder why this is not discussed?

Nuclear power stations as targets in war-time
The danger from attacks on nuclear power stations at war time is substantial and neglected by nuclear power proponents

Election: what I'm hoping for...

That the fossil fuel obsessed Coalition loses
That many more community independents are elected
That Sue Chapman is elected in Forrest
That Kate Chaney is re-elected
That the Greens do well
That dishonest Andrew Hastie is dumped in my electorate, Canning

Let's clean-up Australia's parliament and government by electing more community independents like Kate Chaney and Sue Chapman (www.suechapman.com.au), both Western Australian. But, please, please, put Albo before that dill Dutton.
Sue Chapman for Forrest
Dr Sue Chapman is a trusted South West surgeon of 25 years standing, a builder of regional health services, and the Independent candidate for Forrest. She believes we can build a better South West if ...

We need politicians like Sue Chapman. At present the word ‘politician’ is almost an insult. It need not be, there are already some excellent politicians, Sue will increase the number by one, if she is elected.
When they go low, we stay steady — and strong. I won’t be distracted by fear campaigns or false claims. I’m here to change politics for good. Truth matters. Forrest matters. I’m here to fight for you, with integrity, every step of the way.

Today missed being Easter by 22 minutes.

Gregorian Calendar’s definition: First Sunday after the first Full Moon after the March Equinox. If the Full Moon had occurred 22 minutes earlier, landing yesterday (GMT), then today would have been that first Sunday.

The Australian federal election is getting close. I’d much rather see more community independents elected than dishonest party hacks like this man getting into power.

Andrew Hastie, a dishonest politician
We in Australia should hold our politicians to a high standard of ethics and honesty. Andrew Hastie is quite dishonest and unethical.

I wonder if there are breakers on the coasts of the methane seas of Titan? On a more mundane note, council’s plantings near Santi Ikto have been pretty successful.

Simon, in the link to your books I can only see the first, the one on quitting smoking. I’m particularly interested in the one on assisted dying. Thanks.
