I found you have to keep practicing, it’s like with most of DIY, you can’t practice enough to be up to professional standards because you’re doing lots of bits of different stuff ?

Put on the least amount of sealant you can, have wet rags and water you can dip your finishing finger in, in reach, and press on hard with your wet finishing finger 👍🏻
