Very sorry to see you leave Chilliwack, but pleased for your new move and gig with the Tyee. Plus Lillooet is a good place to land! Thanks for 4 solid years producing the FVC.

A memory: I was attending a conference in Kamloops, in the mid/late 1980s.The Marchands had agreed to take a few billets, including me. I didn't realize who I was staying with. He introduced himself as 'Len'...THEN I realized whose house I was in! Donna & Len were wonderful hosts;Len a great leader.

re: the military protection, perhaps we should remind this President that USA has benefitted from the security and stability of having an ally on its border, so USA in effect could use its military attention elsewhere in the world. Trump administration overlooks this.We should invoice them for that.
