Two years ago today (17/10) I had surgery to remove a tumour from my osopheagus (& most of my osopheagus). Most greatfull to all the medical staff at he QE hospital in B'ham for their skill & professionalism. Thank you for saving my life.

Great to back at the theatre. Walked into a Pantomime audition ( more of a read through). Lots of fun to be with a group dedicated to producing laughs. Big up to the Director and Assistant Director. Panto is a serious commitment!

Thanks to Jez Collins of the Birmingham Music Archive for the tour of city music venues and former venues. The Que club film was really interesting and I regret missing out on the 90's rave/dance scene (bringing up kids). Check out Birmingham Music Archive on line.

Saw Chekov's The Cherry Orchard at The Courtyard, Hereford earlier this week. Entertaining production, great cast, wardrobe and set. Slightly updated with some " modern bits" - songs by Katie Tunstall & Joni Mitchell. The director definitely brought out the comedy in what is essentially a sad tale.
