Think he might have done enough to save his job now. He’s a good coach, it takes time
January 21, 2026 at 6:36 AM
Think it will harder than a lot of folk expect. Hope everyone is up for this.

I’m expecting a difficult game tomorrow, very open. What do you reckon?
January 20, 2026 at 8:48 PM
And the West Ham one as well.
January 20, 2026 at 7:50 PM
Good player Sam, takes a mint free kick as well
January 20, 2026 at 7:45 PM
Whatever they are it’s not enough.
January 20, 2026 at 7:44 PM
You might be right, sellers market for sure. Wilson and Isak left we needed to replace both. Isak saga dragging not ideal.
My opinion.
Thaiw - good
Woltemade - doing well, new league etc.
Ramsey - A bit meh but getting better, think he can play.
Wissa - not see enough
Elanga poor.
Let’s wait and see

OK, I will rephrase, the incomings were good. Sales not so much but to be fair we had very few saleable assets or ones we the fans would be happy parting with.
If you mean Gordon? maybe the CEO should have kept that in house.
And for me the summer gone was a mixed bag, still time for them.
January 20, 2026 at 3:24 PM
I think we live in world where we expect instant everything and when we don’t get that it becomes upsetting. However, sometimes, things take time. Look at Joelinton or even Murphy
January 20, 2026 at 3:11 PM
I would say on the whole since the takeover recruitment has been good. This summer is the most mixed bag we have had, but on 5 year contracts there is time.
January 20, 2026 at 3:03 PM
Be nice to see some progress on that.
January 19, 2026 at 4:40 PM
Aye it was, sometimes things do not pan out how we’d like them to. The loss of 25+ goal striker has hit the team hard. We do not carry the fear factor. That coupled with changes within the league have made this a difficult transition year. Not much we can do but back the lads at the games.
January 19, 2026 at 4:37 PM
It’s been frustrating, granted but that’s football.
January 19, 2026 at 4:33 PM
I suppose it doesn’t but then we’d be top of the league🤷‍♂️ but for context it only goes to support the theory that’s this seems to be a particularly competitive year across the board. Anyone seems capable of getting a result against anyone else.
January 19, 2026 at 4:28 PM
Thanks. Nowt for us to get owa excited about then.
January 19, 2026 at 4:26 PM
A lot of other teams have done the same, someone out an article on here the other day. It’s not just us and apparently we are not the most culpable
January 19, 2026 at 4:25 PM
Be nice if someone with the cheque book was on it
January 19, 2026 at 4:22 PM
Are we at that stage now!
January 19, 2026 at 4:18 PM
Different times and the spin was it was to save the club, and it probably did, but it turned out to be a very nice little earner for him in the end.
Still the mangers PL records are comparable in terms of wins etc.
January 19, 2026 at 4:08 PM
100% I do miss those days of Payless just being signed seemingly out of nowhere. Now it’s all ITKs and leaked reports. Where’s the fun in that. You’re not getting Tino, in fur coat in the snow😂
January 19, 2026 at 3:59 PM
Not knocking him at all. Love Keegan absolute God. What he did to save the club from relegation and then promotion was amazing.
Just pointing out that Howes records is almost as good as his was in PL. Not sure some appreciate that.
January 19, 2026 at 3:50 PM
Exactly, makes a nice change, there are some who believe we should be building that shiny new stadium now.
January 19, 2026 at 3:16 PM
Yes but comparable records. Would argue Keegan spending was only limited by the ambition of the board and at the time they were very ambitious. Whereas now we are restricted by PSR
January 19, 2026 at 3:15 PM
Well the one Mbappé I saw with PSG didn’t want to be here, so we’d be knackered with 11 of them.
January 19, 2026 at 2:36 PM
