I haven't re-watched this since I saw it back then but I remember thinking it was decent. Although I do remember liking Eastwood's companion film to this, Letters From Iwo Jima (2006), quite a bit more.

Being a kid in the '90s I was a big fan of the Doom first person shooter computer game and I'd be lying if I said this movie wasn't disappointing. Other than some cool first person shooter perspective scenes the movie overall just felt flat.

This movie got mostly panned by critics at the time although I personally remember thinking it wasn't bad. It's probably due for a re-watch.

Currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

BTW I could have made that in Photoshop but I chose to save 3 hours of my time to get the same result.
