Hey Shane, thanks again for the paper rec! I’ve tried Fabriano, Stonehenge, Arches watercolor, etc. but somehow missed Rives. In some quick tests it’s been great with graphite and red / blue pencil. For Prismacolor I’m trying Arches 88–still soft with slightly less texture which has been awesome.

Definitely agree Shane. I’ve tried every paper I can find, but they’re either too hard or too textured. There’s also an odd freeing feeling of how cheap newsprint is, but it’s basically melting in realtime. 😄
