Boring, opinionated old guy, those just my good points!😊extremely worried for future with 2 extreme far right parties & far right Lab Govt, any/more than 1 of which, will prob be in Govt post GE. Pro EU membership, NHS, equality, Social liberal. 🏏 bore.
Sorry but have to disagree. Absolutely essential that Key & McCullum are sacked. Stokes sacked from the captaincy but still picked to play. And as well as Pope, Crawley unless he does exceptionally well in the next 2 tests, must be dropped for the summer test series.

I’m just agreeing with polling in Israel that shows a majority perceive that Netyanhu’s actions in Gaza/WB have partly been responsible for an increase in anti-semitism. Presume you disagree and think they are shameless Jew- hating hypocrites?🙄
December 18, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Yep, I think we have, don’t think we are a big distance apart. Made me think, which is never a bad thing, and better understand the reasons/logic behind the position you and others were putting forward so thanks for that.
December 17, 2025 at 10:00 PM
So ok fm that think we can agree? that ‘active’ anti-Semitism has been increased, because of Israeli actions in this instance.
December 17, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Not sure it does necessarily but run with yr ‘follows that if you commit act of antisemitism cos of Israel actions you were already antisemitic’. So if incidents of ‘active’ antisemitism have risen sharply what is it that has suddenly caused all those ‘non-active’ anti-semites to become ‘active’?
December 17, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Think I virtually said that:

‘some are radicalised/or already anti-Semitic looking for what they consider an excuse to carry out violence against Jews.’

So Jews who perceive Israel’s actions in Gaza/WB are partially responsible for a rise in anti-Semitism worldwide are anti-Semitic in your view?
December 17, 2025 at 8:05 PM
The world is right to abhor Israel’s genocide but it is wrong that some are radicalised/or already anti-Semitic looking for what they consider an excuse to carry out violence against Jews. Some Jews perceive that Israel’s actions have aggravated world wide anti-semitism.
December 17, 2025 at 7:36 PM
I’m not, I was partly blaming rise in anti-semitism on world’s reaction to Israel’s genocide. Of course there’s been no surveys of Israeli population that show the majority of Israeli’s perceive that Israel actions in Gaza/WB are a factor in increased hostility to Jews worldwide - have there?
December 17, 2025 at 7:13 PM
Indeed it does, partly at least due to Israel’s actions in Gaza//WB although as already explained that is in no way a defence of any anti-semitism. Think we can agree to disagree, eh?
December 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Don’t know. Proven historical fact that when there are Middle East conflicts anti-semitism will spike in countries for duration of those conflicts. If you want to believe that Israel actions in Gaza/WB have had no influence whatsoever on the time coincident rise in anti-semitism that’s fine matey.
December 17, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Hey guys I’ll stick with my original assertion that Netanyahu’s actions in Gaza/WB are contributing towards the increased anti-semitism in U.K. and other countries across the world. Whilst absolutely not excusing, in fact absolutely abhorring the increase in and any anti-semitic acts.
December 17, 2025 at 6:29 PM
You literally said a ‘million dead Russians before me & then I acknowledged the dead civilians you mentioned and then the Ukr servicemen as making up the rest of the million dead Ukrainians you previously mentioned. No of course not. The definition of war is different to that of genocide btw.
December 17, 2025 at 6:20 PM
When the military of one side is no longer a force with any capability but the slaughter of children and women continues unabated & in an area unconnected with the heinous terrorist massacre, ethnic cleansing runs riot that’s probably a good indication of genocide, crimes against humanity
December 17, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Didn’t say there were
December 17, 2025 at 6:01 PM
A million dead Russians, I’m guessing those are majority soldiers/combatants and yes there will be certainly 10’s of thousands or more of dead Ukr woman and children but I think that probably will still leave a majority of the dead Ukrainians as soldiers/combatants
December 17, 2025 at 5:55 PM
You might want to read the thread, the first insult was get your head out of yr arse … not mine
December 17, 2025 at 5:52 PM
as has been demonstrated in the past will carry out/ increase those attacks at least partly because of Israel’s genocidal actions.
December 17, 2025 at 5:50 PM
I’m not aiming at anyone; my utter disgust for what Russia has done in/to Ukraine is absolutely heartfelt. My original point was that and I wasn’t/not defending anybody that those who may be drawn to/looking for an excuse to anti-Semitic violence, particularly in context of Middle East conflicts,
December 17, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Yes and the IDF are well known for getting their facts right & telling the truth!
December 17, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Precisely majority of those who die in war are soldiers/combatants on either side and yes many civilians on either side v sadly also caught in crossfire/targeted. A war is not one side slaughtering 10,000’s of defenceless women & children, with no resistance possible from those being slaughtered.
December 17, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Ah! out of arguments resorting to insults … what a surprise😁
December 17, 2025 at 5:29 PM
Ah! So your a genocide supporter then. Think your the one who needs to get his head out of his arse next your going to tell me that there hasn’t been spikes in anti-semitism in the U.K. & other countries in parallel with previous Middle East conflicts🙄
December 17, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Russians aren’t carrying out a genocide, there carrying out an illegal, hostile invasion resulting in a war (an armed conflict). What’s happening in Gaza is not an armed conflict, it’s a slaughter.
December 17, 2025 at 8:32 AM
If you don’t believe that Israel carrying out genocide, is at least partly responsible for a time coincident rise in attacks against Jews in other countries then fair enough, all entitled to our opinions. Be interested to hear, what you think is responsible for an increase in these attacks.
