I write dumb programs and pretend I know about computers, what about you?
Robinson is just one of numerous names he's chosen to hide his hateful acts behind.

I'd rather the public come to know the man than his chosen pseudonym of the day.

"as long as they're not made up for .. deception"
Why do you think he gave himself that name? Do you think it was because he likes Fruit Shoot or something?
October 16, 2025 at 8:11 AM
So then we should use it. It's a clear message that we know _he_ is the problem, not a made up 'character' he uses to distance himself from his actions.

It would be completely possible for this government to create EU alignment laws which, while not rejoining the EU, keeps the country in sync, so when someone competent comes to power they can make the rejoin process easier. I'll do it, can't be any worse than any we've seen in the last 20 years.

Try watching ten at the same time. Not only will you get through the backlog you'll enjoy a most thought provoking epic. Full of twists, like a movie Curly Wurly.

"...well, I just thought it would be a jolly old jape, then off back to Bullingdon for tiffin..."

AI "here's your answer"
Me "well that's just bollocks"
AI "oh yes I got that a bit wrong, here's the right answer"
Me "also bollocks?"
AI "good catch! Here's a revised answer" *gives you the first one again*

Gives the illusion of being clever with anything more complex than 'give me a code snippet'

Be careful what you wish for. They'll start sneaking sponsored ad-reads into films
"I'll make him an offer he can't refuse... Like TWO for one at TGI Fridays this weekend only! Just tell your server you'll 'take the cannoli'!"

What a loss 😕

The underlying theory was always 'increased profits'. It's just the amount they have to squeeze to get it, like trying to get the last of the toothpaste from the tube, that changed. Spreadsheets gave them the ability to micromanage where to squeeze and focus their eyes on the numbers not the people

Of course I do think our culture is not compatible with the rabid flag waving craziness of the US but the msm are trying their damn best to create this insatiable non-thinking monster the best they can. Hence, those who provide reasoned argument instead of pithy sound-bites should be highly valued
October 6, 2025 at 6:16 AM
Yes, but what does that have to do with my point?
It does also include the House of Lords which was rapidly stuffed with tory peers, mirroring what the Republicans did with the Senate.
I'm warning against a government that intends to cut off and gaslight the public who voted for them i.e. Reform

I wish this message was understood better. Sure, Labour are flawed, and in some places deeply. But they are at least following the law, and the labour party members are able to 'rebel' (or disagree as we used to call it) without fear of violence or other retribution.
October 5, 2025 at 6:36 PM
You're seeing the same media flood forming right now that accompanied Brexit. The question is whether they've peaked too early and can maintain the hate-party for another three years. I sincerely hope not, but right now we have to push for truth and put safeguards in place for our democracy.
October 5, 2025 at 11:04 AM
Call me old fashioned but I'd much prefer a government where the MPs feel able to rebel, than one that is filled with sycophants and blind worshipping acolytes. Dissent of opinion within the party shouldn't be regarded as a weakness, it should be heralded as politics working.
October 4, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Ahh, the 'technical' argument. The favourite argument of the asshole.
I wonder if Ashlee had a moment of introspection but, I guess money does the talking. I have little respect for any employee of this company, or anyone, who has no issues offloading their morals on a daily basis in return for coin

It's like choosing your favourite surgery scar.
Well, this one hurt least, so...
October 3, 2025 at 6:42 AM
Correct. Most people really don't _want_ to have strong political feelings but as their assets, income and futures continue to be stripped away their fears are also being manipulated and directed towards whichever group benefits political donors most. Tax the ultra-rich, regulate party donations.
October 3, 2025 at 6:27 AM
What, return to a feudal system? Or, are we talking going back to clans kicking the shit out of each other?
Or maybe the 'royalty' isn't the actual problem and we should stop 'the commons' being flooded by wealthy donors who love the idea of stealing money from serfs. The irony will be lost on you.
October 3, 2025 at 6:11 AM
"what's the government done for her" a sad truth that she has genuinely no idea and no motivation to find out either, because, why try to find a way out of a hole when you've had decades of being pushed back in. We need to reach these people and need to silence the poison media feeding their despair

The heat needs to be kept up. They can't maintain their rage forever and keep the attention.

Same "I need to do X, give me some research keywords, I don't want your broken attempt at an outdated or Frankenstein implementation"
