Well, it got out of committee, so obviously some R's on the committee voted for it. So there's some hope, at least.

It's a great ensemble cast, but an actor named Sope Dirisu jumps off the screen. Not many people can do the action scenes he does, and straight-up *act* as well. I think we'll hear his name more in the future.

I'm taking a break to get my breath back before embarking on Season 2.

But the show is not just a shoot-em-up. It's a Shakespearean family drama, it has father-son dynamics, it has a hot love story. Every character is fully drawn, and has a back story of their own. There are political overtones that seem more relevant every day.
