5th - 6th century Ogham stone inscribed HOGTIVIS FILI DEMETI (Hogtivis son of Demetus).
The stone once marked the entrance to a possible monastic site linked to Whitland Abbey.

Bridge of happy memories. My father and his dog used to wait to meet his mother from work on the canal bridge at Whitchurch. Years later, I waited on the bridge imagining the scene. Childhood summers were always sunny.
