Amy should do one of the Christmas Lectures at the Royal Society in London, UK. I'm sure she would be very well received. I went to one of these when I was a youngster and remember being fascinated with a video the presenter showed of the effects of G force on humans (LOC at 7.5G I seem to remember)

I think this is absolutely fascinating!! And I agree, very interesting slow-mo film of astronaut "ejection". There are so many fascinating stories from the space race. A favorite is Armstrong's cool reaction to a defective thruster in orbit and then him slowing a potentially fatal spine rate.

Unable to find Amy's book Fighting for space in audio version anywhere (I enjoy listening to books and it also allows for multitasking!) but eventually found a library copy for a considerable sum. Can't wait to listen to it - I'm certain it's going to be fascinating, well researched and eye-opening!
