I spend much of my time picking up struggling soldiers & veterans who were never screened or validly assessed when presenting mental health symptoms after using #Mefloquine (#Lariam)This often leads to misdiagnosis and mistreatment 💔—like this former soldier I helped just yesterday👇🏻

Hi Paul,if you’re experiencing adverse effects from #Mefloquine / #Lariam) it should be discontinued immediately & a safer alternative (e.g.Malarone) should be sought. Early signs of neurotoxicity can be prodromal for more severe complications.
