I have very important feral cat news. I managed to pick up the mom cat on two consecutive days and she didn't fuss about it at all. Repeat: I picked up the mom cat on two separate days and she didn't fuss.

This is now my life's work.

We are now official parents of three feral cats who live under our deck -- a mom and two kittens. We got them a heated shelter and we're hoping to build up enough trust that we can bring them to the vet. It's slow progress, but they're pretty cool.

This is a great tribute to your dad. My dad was similar, though he served in WWII. Didn't talk much about his experiences, but he was vehemently against Vietnam. His picture hangs on my office wall.

Throwback uniforms rarely work but I think my alma mater did a pretty decent job with these Red Grange-inspired uniforms for the rededication of Memorial Stadium last year. The carefully painted helmets are a big part of why it worked.

I know everything is awful, but take some time to recharge. Last night, we saw one of our favorite artists, Terrance Simien, in our hometown, Oak Park, Illinois. We've been fans for more than 30 years and he literally never disappoints. He's also a great person. Experiences like this give us hope.

Interesting. Tom DeVore, a former GOP candidate for Illinois Attorney General who filed countless lawsuits challenging the state's COVID restrictions, was temporarily suspended from practicing law for ethics violations. www.isba.org/barnews/2025...
