I did 70 miles each way up the M3/M25 every day for a few years. At least 2 hours each way at rush hour. Worst was 10 hours in a snowstorm. My office is now a 20 min cycle ride from my house… but I work from home (as I blatantly could have done all the time I was commuting, but wasn’t allowed)
