And we didn't ask that question here but there's a lot of great work on olfaction and emotion and memory. For neonates in particular I learned mostly from papers fr Regina Sullivan, Lisa Stowers, and Qi Yuan - hard to say how rodent stuff translates to our experience though 🤷♂️
