Finished Shadow Ticket today. The last fourth of the book kinda threw me for a loop in the way the second act of Pynchon's novels tend to do. Of his three "noir" novels, I did like this the best, but that may just be my Midwest bias.

Also playing the FFT re-master/release, after having only attempted it on mobile touch screens and minor spouts of... other things; and: this game kicks ass. Definitely overleveled the first third of the game getting all the toys I wanted, but now that the game has caught up to me, this game rocks.

Reading the new Pynchon - I haven't exactly been enamored with these last few novels (they're alright but...); however, this I think might be Extremely Good, once it has simmered and more attention given to it.
