Think I might currently be reading an early contender for my completely subjective and entirely unauthoritative book of the year award. Not telling you what it is though, not yet, I don't want to jinx it.

For anybody thinking of setting a reading goal this year. Don't. It's not a race. You won't have succeeded if you complete it, or failed if you don't. Just read whatever interests you, whenever you can. That's winning.
