Saturday 19th April.
Around 20,000 people turned up in central London to express their anger at the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of woman in the Equality Act.
There was much anger but also much joy at being together in such a large protest. 🔥🔥🔥

Following the police attempts to curtail the right to protest on the last demonstration today could be regarded as a huge success.

Actor Juliet Stevenson, John McDonnell MP, Fran Heathcote from the PCS union, Ben Jamal from PSC, Stephen Kapos and Lindsey German were among the speakers at today's rally in support of the StW vice chair Chris Nineham who was arrested whilst he was Chief Steward for a pro Palestine demonstration.

I'm staggered by the statistics in the DR Congo. Six to seven million displaced people and around seven million dead in two wars with Rwanda.
It's a conflict fueled by the imperialist extraction industries desire to profit from mining the ores needed for the production of computers.

Bus Workers in @unitetheunion.bsky.social marched on Parliament in London yesterday.
They were demanding a bill of rights. Workers say that they have to work long and dangerous shift patterns and do not get sufficient time for rest breaks. They also say that they are denied proper toilet facilities

Stand Up To Racism and LoveMusic HateRacism in Haringey took over the streets of Crouch End this morning in a music and spoken work session. Activists urged people to come to the demonstration against Tommy Robinson and the far right on 1 February.
Performers were Mr Sols, Dean Statham and Amin.

London Women's March on Saturday 18th January.
Organisers are said that there was around 3000 on the march.

Speakers talked about women's rights, defended trans rights but also spoke about Palestine, racism and the need to oppose Farage and confront Tommy Robinson.

Excellent demonstration today, Saturday 14 December by London Renters Union supported by Homes 4 All and other housing groups.
Protesters demanded rent controls and an end to Section 21 evictions. The also raised the slogan, 'Keir Starmer, community harmer"! 🔥🔥🔥

Unite The Union and other supporters gathered to petition and leaflet in central London today.
They called for the reinstatement of the Winter Fuel Allowance, saying that whilst the energy bosses raked in millions of pounds that pensioners were being forced to choose between eating and heating.

Kurdish protesters marched from Wood Green Civic Centre to the Kurdish Community Centre today Sunday 8 December.
Following the raid on the Centre by armed police some Kurdish activists are still detained by the Police.

Around 500 Kurds and local people marched from Turnpike Lane to the Kurdish Cultural Centre in Haringey tonight.
The KCC remains occupied by Police following a raid. Protesters condemned the police for implying that Kurds were terrorists and called out the Turkish president Erdoğan for complicity.

He is accused of supporting Palestine.
"Specifically, they say that I do not support "Israel's right to exist" and see no prospects in a "two-state solution"
It is an attack on the movement.

Kurdish community restaurants and shops along Green Lanes showed solidarity by not opening last night in response to the attack on the Kurdish Community Centre in North London.
The centre was raided by armed Police on Wednesday and remains closed as Police say they are still conducting searches.

A thousand protesters marched through Haringay tonight to protest at the raid by armed police on the Kurdish Community Centre yesterday. Kurds were joined by local people and trade unions.
They were met with aggressive policing which only the discipline of the Kurdish organisations diffused.
