Pipevine Swallowtail caterpillar on pipevine in my front yard.
They will eat all the pictured pipevine leaves and stems. It quickly grows back for next batch in a few weeks.

Straight line 90 mph winds on my block and around Old Hickory Village, TN Saturday evening. We and neighbors got streets cleared in immediate area—some work is for expert arborists with equipment.🙂 Neighbors grilled and shared meals. Great caring block and community.

Finished my front door. I really dislike painting but like the end result. This was my first paint project since my mom let my sister and I paint our bedroom purple in 1968.

Started painting my front door today. Interior panels will be dark lavender as well as the outside door frame. The next 4 years will be ripe for home improvement projects.

Ted-street rescue—a month ago. Weighed 10 lbs (should weigh 20) and had a dangerous perineal hernia. Hernia repaired, neutered, and has gained 2 lbs. He’s an extremely good dog.

Because of your doggie successes, took in this fine boy (Ted) when a neighbor found him in the street. Most emaciated dog I have ever seen. Weighed 10 lbs—normal is 20. Perineal hernia and his anus was sideways.
3 wks later—hernia repaired, neutered, dewormed, and has gained 1.5 lbs.
