Thanks, Alan. She is actually enjoying life more than she ever has. No worries, no stress. We play in ways she couldn’t before. I am enjoying that for both of us. But there are moments that hurt. And, somehow, acknowledging and sharing them makes them easier to handle.

Sorry you’re still struggling. We are doing ok, though I am tireder than usual. Which may also have to do with regaining muscle mass I lost while out of the pool while traveling.

Thanks. She is happy, and I’m taking that as a win. The trip rekindled her thinking about ceramics, as we saw so many friends and family with pieces of her work. We’ll see if she’s actually able to create now.

We’re at the studio where my wife did her ceramics today. Cleaning her work area of mouse detritus, she hasn’t been here in 1 1/2 years. She used to own this space, now needs direction. To ease the heartache there is a beautiful spiderwort.

Beautiful shot, Mark.

A lot of people don’t want to make the effort to take that control. And many are so used to be fed something, they don’t know or understand they need to take control here.

Sorry for the lack of alt text, don’t have the energy to type these instructions tonight. Here’s a link where I got them: https://searqle.com/blog/does-star-sixty-seven-still-work/

No paxlovid. Do have a young friend who has picked up tests, cough medicine and groceries for us.

I did not manage. She tested positive Tuesday. Trying to take care of her while being so out of it myself is hard. Both of us coughing, my chest is heavy and I’ve been sealing with nausea.

Struggling. Got outside to sit in the sun for a while today. That felt good.

Right?!? I’m still flabbergasted.

It was exceptional. For both of us. I was adopted as a mom 4 years ago by a young woman who calls me her logical mom. She and her fiancé made it up from Tennessee. Was good to finally hug each other. Saw other online friends for the first time. Was soul filling.

My knee did fine. A bit stiff, flying was a thing, but all it all it did well.

Two weeks in Michigan with my niece and her family, (my sister and her other two children and spouses are there also) a week in Colorado with my brother and his girls. In Michigan we had a family reunion, the other 4 siblings and families came up. Colorado was old friends week.

I’m not sure how much I’m actually reading and how much I’m just moving my eyes over very familiar words ;-) I am a strange anomaly. Video has never been something I enjoy. I will watch things socially, but left to my own devices I never think to. My kids can get me to watch ;-)

Thanks.

We did have a wonderful trip to Michigan and Colorado. Saw all the family and old friends. Everyone got time with her while she knows and can enjoy them. Great niece and nephew creative time, she enjoyed it so much.

I am tired, but it’s all worth her joy.

Bad cough, headache, sore throat. She tested negative yesterday, has felt fine. Don’t ask me how that works, I’m just grateful!

TV doesn’t work for me, I’m binge reading ;-) old favorites so I don’t have to think ;-)

Damn, sister. How do we do these things together? Tested positive Wednesday. Probably from flying, got back Saturday. Masked. Wife is fine… avoided this for 5 years and here I am. No fever, though. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

That’s wonderful! One of those times you say to yourself, “I wish I’d caught that!” ;-)

I’m really, really happy for you! That’s awesome!

I’m well. Tired but well. Was able to walk a mile and a half today along the headlands. Farthest I’ve been able to walk since 2020. Feels really good to finally be making progress.

Last year someone we walk with in the pool was wearing a white one. She loved it. Told us where to get her one. Saw that person in the grocery store about an hour and a half later, and she had already bought my sweetheart this multi colored one. She wears it everywhere now!
