I have been marked Intolerant for some basic gender critical comments. I think that is horrible. It makes me disgusted with Bluesky.

What I am saying is that it is immoral only to criticize those you don't support. This was ethically dubious and should be acknowledged as such if one keeps one's integrity.

I am not MAGA, but I am an honest person. I don't believe in being extremely partisan. I think this action by Mamdani should be criticized.

The question is about race, not nationality. He is now American as well as Ugandan/African. However, that is not what the question is getting at. Not all Africans are black. That is why his answer is ethically dubious.

Just Asian. Both of his parents are Asian. In Uganda, he is Indian, and in Uganda, it seemed to me that Indians used to keep to themselves, not integrated into the culture.

It is not the same. By checking off African-American, Mamdani knew he was putting himself in the bucket for more points for his application based on race. It was a dubious decision, even if it can be explained by being born in Uganda. He was young when he did it, but it means he is not perfect.

Ben Ryan is very good on trans issues. And I do think it is not completely ethical for Mamdani to check that box, even if I understand how he justified it.

The fact that I was labeled "intolerant" after immediately joining Bluesky for some civil gender critical comments suggests to me that Bluesky will never be democratic.

There IS a conflict between women's rights and the extreme demands of transactivists. This is the only thing Trump is right on. I am tired of Democrats talking about "LGBT rights," when they really mean the right of men to violate women's boundaries.

I am not right-wing at all but have the most progressive views on sex/gender, so I have been slapped with an "Intolerant" label. It makes me feel like Hester Prynne.

In the past, the majority of the children outgrew their gender dysphoria, and most grew up gay. However, now we are reinforcing the identity and medicalizing the condition. The recommended approach is therapy to explore their thoughts and feelings.
