Saw oopmfs mention astro.build, so I've read its docs. Turns out it's kinda based! I don't really vibe with using JavaScript for all the templating but hey, you can use js libraries in a static manner!

CSS is great, you can't transition background-image, but you can always, uh
use ::before with inset: 0; and border-radius: inherit; and then change its opacity from 0 to 1 when needed

It's been 4 months and I'm still so so conflicted on the idea of unlisting and rewriting older blog posts, like yeah I have them archived publicly under the "old." subdomain, but uhh, is it really a solution? what does it solve anyway? (1/?)
