RE4R gives you way too many grenades I think.

It drastically slows down later in the game but during the Village chapters it's a lot.

Stylish Action, or at least the Kamiya-adjacent ones, knows that too. Dante and Cereza(s) as characters are intrinsically tied to the mechanics of their games in a way few other game protagonists are.

The excess is needed to give us room to shape them through the act of playing.

The reversed pianoing works perfectly, and it's arguably better, but it's a little tricky to input.

Almost like a reverse grappler jump... Kinda.

Due to how the game interprets inputs, pianoing jump into K to buffer perfect 360Ks no longer works unless After Burner Kick is disabled.

Not worth it but if CMW is the secondary weapon rather than primary, maybe...

They really just gave Tetsu a true 1f disjoint window for weaves with infinite reach for the hell of it while CMW has to either charge and lose the hitbox or wait until the first active frame for a cancel.

Probably still not as good as the Shuraba weave in the first game though lol

The Japanese description for Yellow Orbs in Devil May Cry is different than the English one.

While EN is "A sacred stone that brings back life after death.". the Japanese is "死の直前に時を戻す神秘の秘石 - A mysterious stone that makes time roll back just moments before one's death."

The story mentioned in the final image is X-Factor #68, published in 1991.

It also happens to be the basis for the Mega Optic Blast, according to one of those mooks, this one being specifically about XvSF published back during Capcom's arcade era to accompany their games.
