Yeah it’s fiendishly difficult lol but I keep doing it because I like the effect. It is easier if you use a lighter weight canvas and GAC fabric stiffener, steaming, and spraying hot water to tighten help a lot

It’s two shaped 1/4 inch wood panels cut with a jig saw. The front panel is slightly larger than the than back. There’s a series of 2 1/2 inch spacers in between them, then canvas is stretched over the whole thing
